About the artist: Claire Manchanda

Claire is a still life painter from Brisbane, Australia. She paints florals in acrylics and some oils, exploring light and shadows with an emphasis on value and tone.

Claire has painted for many years but began a consistent art practice four years ago. Since then Claire has been a finalist in the Art to Art Melbourne Unearthed Art Prize, Du Rietz Art Awards, and Lethbridge Small Scale Art Award twice as well as exhibiting in a range of group exhibitions.
